Deacon Suzy Kenyon was ordained September 17, 2011 by the Right Reverend Donald F. Harvey, Diocesan Bishop of the Anglican Network in Canada, in the province of the
Anglican Church in North America. She has a background in social work, with a Master of Social Work degree from Simmons College. Her practice as a clinical social worker has been primarily hospital-based, with adults and elders suffering from mental illness and/or substance abuse, and their families.
Deacon Suzy’s ministries to Holy Trinity Anglican Church include serving liturgically at Tuesday evening and Sunday morning services; coordinating our mission to Our Father’s Table, a Marlborough, MA organization that provides meals to those in need; co-leading weekly meetings of Emotions Anonymous; serving as a Visiting Eucharistic Minister to the ill and homebound of our parish; leading the Follow-Up Ministry, to stay in contact with parish members who have recently been absent from services as well as those who attend irregularly; attending prayer walks with the parish rector, Fr. Michael McKinnon; and visiting those in need of pastoral services.
She and her husband, Mike, live in Wayland, Massachusetts and have been a part of the Holy Trinity church family since 2004. They have three married children, Katherine, Allison, and Christopher. Deacon Suzy and her husband have also been blessed with three grandchildren: Baxter, 5 years; Owen, 2 years; and Riley, 7 months, who light up their lives!
